Effective Information Management
To complement the Rickter Scale we originally
developed an Information Management System using
an Excel platform. The IMS as it has become
known is a traditional PC application which can
operate in both a standalone form and a networked
environment. However, with advancing computer
and telecommunications technology, we have now
upgraded the system to work in an online
environment. The IMS Online has been born.

• Security of your information is key -
• You connect to the live online service using the
  same security protocols as online banking where
  credit cards details are entered.
• Your data is stored in a database held outwith
  the public side of the online service.
• Your organisations data cannot be accessed by
  anyone except your authorised staff and
  authorised members of The Rickter Company support
  and development team.
• We are fully registered with the UK Information
  Commissioner in terms of the Data Protection Act
  1998.

• To make use of the Rickter IMS Online you need -
• A personal computer with

• Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 6 or above
• These are free programmes they can be
  downloaded from links we provide.
• The system works best on Microsoft Windows 2000
  or XP operating systems.
• An internet connection, preferably at
  ADSL/broadband speed.
