Welfare of Tribal Children In continuation of
CSR activities, financial assistance is being
provided to two tribal girls Ku. Laldai Kawde and
Ku. Kamla Nureti residing in village, Kukrajoda
(15 Kms from Narayanpur), and village Bumni (6
Kms from Narayanpur) respectively. These two
girls were selected for four years BSc. Nursing
course and admitted in Bhilai Nursing College.
BSP will sponsor them for their total nursing
course.

(Swayamsiddha- Piperchhedi) Employment
Generation/Income generation Scheme has been
started in two Model Steel Villages by the name
of Swayamsiddha. In Piperchhedi, 23 women are
engaged in making Achar, Papad Agarbatti. BSP
is assisting them in commercial production
Marketing.
42INCOME GENERATION SCHEMES
(Swayamsiddha - Khapri) The group comprised of
only women. They had mutually agreed to learn
stitching. Bhilai supported by way of providing
trainers from social workers of the locality and
also 4 sewing machines as well as necessary
training material. Now they are being guided for
marketing of school uniform. .

- Lok Kala Mahotsav
- 32 years of celebrations
- Starting from 1976.
- 5-day Mahotsavs every year (at Bhilai Mines
locations) - Around 500 artists are participating in this Mega
Folk event every year.

villages, 21 villages have been identified by
Bhilai Steel Plant to develop them as Model Steel
Villages. - Number of construction jobs has been started in
these villages. - The construction activities are Additional class
rooms, Overhead tank, Approach road, Cremation
shed, Decorative entry arch, Playground, Street
cementing, Community Hall, Cultural Stage,
Vocational Training Centre, Primary Health
Centre, Bore wells etc. -
