Water is Polar

• It has one end and one end.
• Poles on one water interact with
  oppositely-charged poles on other waters.
• A 3-D network of intermolecular forces is the
  result.
• Most important among these is hydrogen-bonding.
• Water is, therefore, a liquid (with many unique
