• Worked as a Design Engineer

Aphasia

• Went to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol in 1999
• Rehab in Oxfords Rivermead Centre
• Gradually walked with a stick
• Went home in October 2000

Work with Aphasia

• Went back to work part-time, then full-time
• Outside work, met Jenny and Wilfred
• Dragged along to GlosSpeak!

Top of the World and College

• Toured around Australia in Spring 2002
• Lead Designer for a module on a satellite
• Went back to college to study for a Masters

Work and Depression

• At uni, I did great things, but not my Masters
• No design work for me, felt uninspired
• Tried to change jobs internally

Regroup and Leave

• With my partners help, left work in March
• Searched for work for two months after that
• When our money was almost run out

Climbing the Mountain

• Contract job for Pace, based in Saltaire.
• Pace make Set-Top Boxes
• Permanent job happening on Monday 24th
