Notes

• The MGSU was installed in the AO system between
  1/3/06-1/7/06
• DM mask was in place to aid in pupil alignment
• In the HOWFS, the image and pupil were aligned
  before testing the MSGU
• The stage locations given for the spot images
  correspond to an image location that is shifted
  from the HOWFS image location by -3 in X and
  13 in Y
• Spot images are in 64x64 alignment mode
• Stage positions are given in microns
• Optics up orientation on the spit in the lab
  used for alignment purposes only
• Optics down normal orientation on the telescope
• At the image plane, 1mm of motion repesents 2.62
  on the sky

• Units are microns of wavefront error
• Reconstructed using Palomar AO reconstructor
  (may99_obs)
• The pattern in the OPDs was also in the residuals
  for the AO system HOWFS (due to an old flatmap on
  the DM)
• This also shows that Zeppos axes are flipped (x
  is y, y is x)
