1ACC College Connections
- College Connection is a partnership between ACC
and LISD founded to help increase the number of
LISD graduating seniors who enter college by
creating an awareness of the benefits of going to
college - College Connection will facilitate a system for
every LISD student receives admission acceptance
into ACC
2ACC Connections
- Many high school students find the college
enrollment process intimidating - ACC connections will provide hands-on, one-on-one
support to assist every student through each step
of the college admissions process - Along with your diploma, each high school
graduating senior completing ACC application
process will receive his/her acceptance letter to
ACC
3ACC Connections
ADVANTAGES Tuition cost at ACC is at an
in-district rate, which is approximately one
third less than the rate for surrounding school
districts. Students who successfully complete
all of the steps in this program will be fully
admitted to ACCthey are enrolled for
life. Ability for students away at college or in
the military to register for on-line courses at
the in-district rate. ASSET test will be
administered to all LISD seniors free of charge.

5ACC Connections
A letter has gone home to parents about this
opportunity. If you or your parents do not want
you to participate in ACC Connection, all you
have to do is Return the waiver with parental
signature indicating decline OR Student can
self-decline during the process on October 28th

- ACC will provide you one free test on ASSET or
COMPASS for you to meet TSI - Take COMPASS at ACC Campus
- Take an ASSET on an LISD campus
- November 5th _at_ VRHS starting at 100 PM
- Early Release Day
- March 7th _at_ VRHS starting at 900 AM
- Saturday
You need to obtain a fee waiver from Mrs.
Spradling in order to test
9Sign up for ASSET
- First ASSET test date November 5th at VRHS
- Sign up by October 29th!
- 100 PM 600 PM (all parts)
- 100 PM 200 PM (math only)
- 100 PM 400 PM (reading, writing, essay)
10Already an Early College Start Student?
- To change your status to a traditional student,
all you need to do is - Missing Credentials form
- Advising in April
