I got both the information and a backup letter
from the DBTAC. It gave me credibility and
ammunition that I used to take on the city.
They voided a ticket they gave me because my
trash cans were visible. I couldnt move them
easily due to their large size and my disability.
I kept them along side my garage but they didnt
like them there. After calling the center, I
was able to talk to a council member and gave her
my side of the story, based on the information
that you gave me. She brought it up at a council
meeting and my ticket was voided. They asked me
if I could keep my cans behind a bush, which I
had offered to do originally. This ended up
being fine. I do wish that there were a state
level person to complain to.

12Model Fit
13Market Segmentation
- Those seeking an accommodation or services uses
DBTAC for additional information - . . . using the DBTAC for clarification, design
purposes - . . . accessing DBTAC technical assistance to
provide TA to others - . . . using the DBTAC because of its perceived
trustworthiness customer friendliness

17Concluding Thoughts
- Look beyond labels to identify needs and uses of
information - Translation of information into outcomes is often
direct - Need to study the black box the processes of
translating information into outcomes
