22DEVICE TYPE EQUIPMENT
HF SERIAL device is used with AN/PRC-150 radio
with serial cable. HF CONFIG device is used
with AN/PRC-150 radio With data cable routed
through the TCIM. SATCOM device is used with
AN/PSC-5C Shadowfire or AN/PSC-5D Multi Band
Multi Mode Radios (MBMMR).

network protocol. VERSION 7/BLOCK 2 device
types can communicate on an IFSS(TACFIRE),
188-220A, 188-220C, or Generic Lan network
protocol. VERSION 10 device types still can only
communicate on an IFSS(TACFIRE)
protocol. Communications with AFATDS Version 6.5
or higher select AFATDS BLOCK 2. Communications
with AFATDS 6.4 select AFATDS 7 and have AFATDS
set the radar as an R5 VMF device.
