automated email and fax - Allow anyone who wants to add info to our website
to do so, resulting in a far more useful and
up-to-date website.

4What is a user and how do I become one?
- A user is someone who is authorized (given a
password) to go inside the communication center
and add info to the website or send information
out to club members. - Not everyone will need to be a user, but
committee chairs, Soundings writers, board
members, etc., should all be users so they can
provide info to the club and keep the website
current. - To become a user, ask the PIER Administrator to
give you a password. - Go to www.audiencecentral.com and login with your
assigned user name and password. - Not all users have access to all functions of the
center.

- To add a new soundings
- click on
- Create New Document
- Then choose Type Soundings

into here

- After the Soundings has been pasted you have a
few options - Email notification about this draft
- Email a copy of the draft
- Preview the draft as it would look on the website
- Save as draft
- The next step to getting the new Soundings on the
website is to click Save as Draft

- Once you have submitted a draft the next thing
you need to do is get it approved. First step is
to click - Information Management
- Edit Approval List(s)
- Then Soundings edit
- Select the name of the approver
- Click the right arrow key
- Then Click Save List
- Be sure to only have one name in the approvers
column or else both people will need to approve
the Soundings before it can be posted to the
website

- After you have selected the appropriate approver
the next step is to view the Soundings and submit
it to the website - To do this click
- Unposted Documents
- Soundings
- View
Next you will want to review the draft to make
sure everything is correct Then click Approve
this Draft Then click Post this Draft The
new Soundings is now on the website
12What can I do after the new Soundings is posted?
First option you have is to include the new
soundings as a recent update. You can choose
which websites will list this as a recent
website. You may choose more than one by holding
down the ctrl key on your keyboard
You may also send out a copy of the new Soundings
to one of your mailing lists by selecting the
Soundings Mail List then selecting Next gtgt Be
sure the From email address is YOURS You may
also choose to Skip sending the document
13How do I add someone to the Contact List?
- To add a new contact click
- Database Management
- Add Contact
- Next you will want to choose the appropriate
Database - Enter the new contacts information
- From there you will choose to add the new contact
to the mailing list then click OK at the
bottom of the page
14How do I update a contacts information?
- First you will click
- Database Management
- Search Contacts
- Next you type in the persons name then click
Submit at the bottom of the page
Now click the edit next to the contact that you
would like to update.
Then make the necessary changes and click OK at
the bottom of the page
