• Due to the relentless efforts of drug law
  enforcers resulting to significant seizures of
  Methamphetamine Hydrochloride
• shift of method from trafficking in of Shabu in
  finished form to the trafficking in of its
  precursors and essential chemicals
• Production of the drug in the local clandestine
  laboratories

• Differences in ATS in different areas of the
  country - None
• from January to Sept 2005 - 7 clandestine
  lab and 4 storage facilities were dismantled
• Prices
• Shabu - P2,000 per gram (approximately US35)
• Ephedrine - P1,600 per gram (US29)
• Based on prevailing market value as reported by
