first real birdie opportunity of the round but
calls for accuracy off the tee. Consider a long
iron. The front of the fairway bunker is 192
metres from back tee.

6th Hole
Pros Tip One of the easiest holes on the course
which usually plays a short iron. Try to leave
yourself an uphill put on this green.

7th Hole
Pros Tip This hole very much favours a draw shot
off the tee. Avoid blocking yourself on the
right-hand side with trees. Downwind, a 3-wood
should suffice.

1st Fairway
Pros Tip Generally plays easy enough and yields
a birdie opportunity. Right side of fairway
offers best approach. Consider using a long iron
for position off the tee for position.

10th Hole
10th Hole
Pros Tip The fairway bunker 200 metres on the
right-hand side should be avoided. By driving
long and too far left, you can block out an
approach shot to the green. Try to position your
approach shot on the tier where the pin is as the
slope could cost you an extra shot.

11th Hole
Pros Tip The longest of the par 3s at 183
metres from the back tee. This hole should be
treated with respect and plays long at 183 metres
from the back tee, especially into the wind. A
four here is not a bad result.

12th Hole
Pros Tip A tiger of a hole that calls for
accuracy off the tee as well as your approach
shot. It averages two over par and is index 1 for
good reason. A well placed tee shot onto the
plateau or upslope positions you well for your
approach shot. Dont be greedy take a five and
be glad of it!

13th Green
13th Hole
Pros Tip This hole at 247 metres offers the
earliest opportunity for a birdie on the back
nine. A long iron shot down the right side leaves
you with a short iron approach shot. Leave your
driver in the bag here.
12th Green

14th Hole
14th Green
Pros Tip This is one of the most unforgiving
holes on the course and ruins many a scorecard.
For the big hitters, a well-hit driver can block
you for your approach to the green. Ideal
position is over the left side of the grass mound
with either a 3-wood or a long iron. Take your
five and run!

16th Hole
16th Hole
Pros Tip The last of the holes that has the
potential to ruin your score. Keep it on the
fairway. Consider a 3-wood from the tee. Note pin
position as green is very long.
15th Green
Press ltPage Downgt to continue. Press ltEscgt to

17th Hole
Par 4Index 9/11
Pros Tip An easy enough par four provided that
the fairway bunker at 227 metres from the back
tee is avoided. Correct alignment off the tee is
crucial.

18th Hole
4th Green
Pros Tip The only par five on the course and is
reachable in two for the big hitters. Keep the
tee-shot inside the right-hand side treeline and
avoid the fairway bunker at 227 metres from the
back tee. Laying up with the second shot can
prove prudent and position you for an approach
shot that can yield a birdie.
