- Log on the Santan Website

- Select Inter_at_act at the top of the screen
- Pull down to
- CHECK MAIL

READ all of this!! NOW!! then we will logon

6You will see the logon screen
- Username last name, first initial, and the last
two digits of your student ID - EX smithj45
- Password
- Select Log In and Accept
7Change Your Password Now!
- Select USER OPTIONS
- at the top of your screen
- Type in your NEW Password
- Type it again! REMEMBER it!
8Interesting and Useful..
- You CAN and WILL use this email from home! You
can access files you save here to work on at
home. - Only emails to teachers and students at Santan
will work. NO outside email addresses can be
accessed.

10Write Mail in Gaggle
- be careful using the Lookup menu options
like My Class will actually send messages to ALL
students! - if you are sending e-mail to a
Santan Gaggle address, you only need to type in
the username (ex. smithj45) of the recipient
rather than the entire address - you can enter
multiple addresses on the same line by separating
each address with a comma

- Add them to your address book
12Attaching Files
- You can also use Gaggle to send file attachments
to other people. This is a great way to
collaborate on projects, send out assignments,
etc. - Click the Browse button on the Write Mail screen.
- Locate the file you want to attach (see example
on right) and click the Open button. - Click the Upload button on the Write Mail screen.
13Digital Locker
This allows students to store files for personal
use. For example, you can begin a project at
school, store it in your digital locker, and
continue to work on it at home. The process is
very similar to attaching files to an e-mail.
14How to Do this
- On the Jump To menu, choose Digital Locker.
- Click the Browse button.
- Locate the file you want to store in your digital
locker and click the Open button. - Click the Upload button.
15Try to Remember
- If you work on a file at home you
- MUST reload it to your locker with
- the changes you made.
16Warning, Warning
- You cannot send or receive email from outside
addresses - You cannot use inappropriate language or threats
to others - You cannot send an email to more than 25 students
- IF YOU DO THIS.
17Email Administrators
- Are notified immediately
- If it continues your email can be taken away
temporarily or permanently
