  development services aimed at improving

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• Majority shares black owned
• Management team predominantly black
• Turnover less than R12m
• Trading for more than one financial year
• Exhibit good growth potential
• Comply with commercial regulatory requirements
  e.g. SARS

MARKETING AND DISTRIBUTION

• Network of BBSDP accredited agents - Network
  Facilitators
• Network facilitators assist enterprises in
• Conducting a needs assessment of the enterprises
• Assisting enterprise in completing the BBSDP
  application
• Compiling business plan for the enterprise
• Obtain quotes and profiles for the service
  providers
• Ensuring that the applicant complies with
  mandatory requirements of the BBSDP (i.e a valid
  Tax Clearance Certificate of the enterprise must
  be submitted with the application)
• Payment
• Paid R5,000 for each approved application if the
  the total cost of the activities sought to
  implement is more than R50 000 AND 10 if the
  total cost of the activities is less than R50 000
