Title: Isa as

1
Isa (as)
  • By
  • Tanzim Shaikh

2
The Name
  • The name Jesus is not his name.
  • In the Aramaic language the letter J does not
    exist.
  • Isa (as) comes closest in pronouncing his real
    name

3
The Sole of Allah (swt)
  • Adam (as) and Isa (as) are called the sole
    (spirit) of Allah (swt)
  • Why?
  • He made Adam (as) without mother or father
  • He made Isa (as) without a father

4
The followers
  • Sahaba
  • The followers of Mohammad (saw)
  • Al Hawareen (the decipels)
  • The followers of the Isa (as)

5
The Miracle!
6
The Request of the Miracle
  • They came to the Isa (as) and asked can your
lord send down the table filled with food?

7
Why the Miracle?
  • They were probably hungry at that time
  • They wanted to be the witness to the miracle
  • So when they give dawa they wanted to tell the
    people what they witness
  • They wanted to know if he was really was telling
    the truth

8
Al Hawareen
  • Doubting the ability of Allah (swt)?
  • No
  • In Quraan says that when Isa (as) asked, who are
my supporter in the sake of Allah? The Hawareen
said that, We are going to be the one who will
give the victory to the religion of Allah.
  • They were firm believer of Allah (swt)
  • They were very small community of people who
    believed in Isa (as)

9
The Difference
  • The Sahabas never asked the RSAW for a miracle or
    ever doubted his words.
  • The Al Hawareen asked Isa (as) for a miracle so
they would be the witness of the miracle.
  • Can give dawa and tell people of the miracle

10
The Dua
  • They convinced Isa (as)
  • He made the dua to Allah (swt)
  • He asked this feast to be the Eid
  • It will be sign form Allah (swt)
  • Food

11
The Acceptance
  • Allah (swt) agreed to send the food
  • He said, If any of you will disbelieve who ask
for this, he will punish him with a torment such
as he had never inflected on among all the
    world.

12
Believing
  • When you ask for an Aaya or a miracle and when
the miracle is preformed and than u disbelieve,
it is worst than disbelieving without seeing it
  • Why?
  • Because you asked for proof and Allah had given
the proof and you have seen it

13
Knowledge that doesnt benefit
  • If its not confirmed firmly with aaya or the
hadith, its better to stay away form it
  • Doesnt make you ignorant if you dont know it
  • Doesnt make you knowable if you do know it
  • Why?
  • because Allah would not hide away from us the
knowledge that will beneficial for us which will
    help us for guidance.

14
The Crucifixion?
15
The Plan
  • The Yahood plotted with the Romans who were the
government to execute Isa (as) in public.
  • They decided to nail him on to the cross till he
    bleed to death
  • With a crown of thorn on his head
  • It was very brutal way to kill a person nailed to
the cross in the sun for hours until the person
    dies

16
Were they Succesful?
  • No
  • There are no strong Hadith or Aaya to say what
really happened, but there are two stories

17
One
  • Isa (as) went to the Hawareen and ask one of them
to volunteer in place of him
  • He asked three times and all three times a same
    young man volunteer himself
  • Similar to the story of Ali (ra), when he slept
in place of RSAW on the night when he went to
    Mehraj

18
Two
  • Allah (swt) made an enemy of Isa (as) appear to
look like Isa (as) and they took him in place of
    Isa (as)

19
What Happened to Isa (as)?
  • He was elevated to heaven alive from the window
  • He will come back to earth to finish his rest of
his life of earth on the day of Judgment

20
Conclusion
  • We do not believe that Isa (as) was crucified
  • Nor that he was born on the 25 of December
