3ApGrid Objectives
- ApGrid Charter (underway)
- ApGrid is a coordination body to produce an
international virtual organization for supporting
individual grid research and development projects
by bringing existent and future grid activities
together from Academia, Government, Industry and
Forum. - ApGrid makes every effort to provide and to
operate an internationally accessible grid
infrastructure (testbed) to share grid resources
given by the members. Contributing resources is
not considered as a part of members obligations,
but each member should regard equal partnership
as important. - ApGrid Engineering Status
- ApGrid CA almost ready,
- Resource catalogue available,
- To develop a partnership among Asia Pacific
Communities to - Share Resources, Knowledge, and Technologies
- Collaborate and Build on each others work
- Encourage Application Community and Assist them
in using our technologies along with others - Build, nurture, and promote Ap Grid technologies
and applications - Provide a venue for sharing and exchanging ideas
and help help initiate new projects that benefit
us. - Maintain Communication Channels with GGF, APAN,
PRAGMA and other international existent
activities.
