• programs
• that use the Galileo Assessment Scales
• to assess the developmental progress of children

• How children were doing in the fall when they
  entered Head Start

• how children were doing in the spring, when they
  finished Head Start

What did we find?

• Children made better than expected gains from the
  fall to the spring in all eight areas that
  Galileo measured.
