Title: Creative Project

1
Creative Project
  • Take photograph of a person, place or thing who
you believe demonstrates some aspect of our (or
your) humanity striving to make careful use of
light, form, composition.  You alone must take
the photo during this semester and you should not
be the subject of it.  One idea is to photograph
a close friend or relative (obtain written
permission, whenever possible, to take use that
persons photo for this project).  Another could
be to photograph a place that means much to your
or societys development. An example of a thing
is an item, tool or instrument that defines what
humanity is capable of. Digital photos are
perfector if you prefer to use regular film, it
can be developed inexpensively at any drugstore.

2
Take digital photos on highest resolution
available. The photo also needs an
accompanying one paragraph that tells how the
person, place or thing you photographed says
something about some aspect of humanity.  You may
want to give photo a title. Paragraph must be
typed and double - spaced. Paragraph must
consist of at least twenty sentences. Photos
may be color or black and white. Photos can be
manipulated in Photoshop. Photographer should
take more than one photograph. Photographer
should explore different angles, distances from
subject and lighting. From your collection pick
which one you consider your best.   Photo must be
turned in an electronic format. If timestamp is
available it should accompany photo. If you use
film you have to have it developed then scanned.
I f you use camera phone make sure you have high
resolution.
Photograph and paragraph due date Do not email
photo to professor. Bring upon flash drive or
disk. You may email to yourself then move to
classroom computer desktop.
3
To receive the 100 points for the photograph it
must be done on time, have good quality of color,
contrast and clarity. Paragraph must be clear
and detailed on what the photo means. No late
submissions will be taken.
