- We are a small group of yoga teachers who
underwent an intensive, 5-day specialist prenatal
yoga teacher training - Our course is taught by an experienced team
comprising of a yoga teacher, a midwife and a
gynaecologist - Our training is ongoing, so that the learning
process continues - gt We are suitably qualified to look after you and
your unborn baby!

breastfeeding counsellor (with over 16 years
experience) so that we can support you - When to start exercising again

CORE PRENATAL YOGA
The foundations of our prenatal yoga course is in
its strong medical/scientific background as well
as its yogic roots. gt We look to meet the
demands of your changing body and your unborn
baby!

- First trimester A time of vulnerability and
change - Yoga in this trimester addresses the students
vulnerability as well as building her connection
to her child - We look at building the body strengthening the
back and heart, increasing the lung capacity and
balance.
10GAIA SUN YOGA PRENATAL YOGA TEACHERS
- Second trimester Hearing and Breath
- The babys hearing develops, and we work on vocal
intonations, ie the positive effects of sound,
breath and mantra - This is a beautiful time for yoga, as the
pregnancy hormones, relaxin and progesterone,
work on loosening connective tissues, enabling
the student to achieve a greater degree of
flexibility.

- Working with the student to create in her mind
