Mentoring
  • A deliberate pairing of a more skilled or
    experienced person with a lesser skilled or
    experienced one, with the agreed-upon goal of
    having the lesser skilled person grow and develop
    specific competencies.

  • A relationship in which a more experienced
    person, the mentor, takes a special interest in
    helping a less experienced person, the protégé,
    to grow personally and professionally.

    more senior, experienced, and knowledgeable
    employee (I.e., the mentor) who provides advice,
    counsel,feedback, and support related to career
