Summary

• In the book Holes, there is a boy named
  Stanley who is charged with stealing a pair of
  shoes. Stanley is given the choice of going to
  jail or a place called Camp Green Lake. Stanley
  chooses Camp Green Lake because he thinks that it
  is a normal camp.
• Once Stanley gets to camp Green Lake he finds
  out that all they do at Camp Green Lake is dig
  holes. Stanley meets a boy named Zero, and
  Stanley is the only person that Zero will talk
  to. Soon Stanley and Zero agree that if Stanley
  teaches Zero to read, then Zero will help Stanley
  dig his hole.
• One day Zero runs away and a couple days later
  Stanley runs away to go find him. Soon Stanley
  finds Zero with no water and really thirsty. Read
  this book to find out if Stanley and Zero will
  live.
