Our Vision is...

• To provide a quality service in the East Midlands
  aimed at encouraging business activities between
  Leicestershire, the East Midlands and companies
  in India.
• To ensure a seamless integration and common
  understanding between the UK and Indian business
  sectors, building on strong multicultural and
  civic links that already exist.
• To work towards becoming the lead organisation
  and a one stop shop for trade between India
  and the region.

Project Goals

• To attract and increase inward and outward
  trading activities between Leicestershire, East
  Midlands and India.
• Work to contribute towards the vision of the
  Leicestershire Economic Regeneration Strategy
  eventually to look at the East Midlands as a
  whole.
• To provide quality information service to
  identify business opportunities.
• Promote Leicestershire and the east Midlands as
  an investment location for Indian companies.

Our strengths

• Existing ties and links with cities in Gujarat
  both historically and at local authority/civic
  level

• Working with UKTI, Chamber of Commerce, City
  Council etc.

• Opportunity to build on already established
  trading links with local and Indian companies

• Able to access local businesses via Chamber of
  Commerce and UKTI
• Capitalise on present trickling interest of
  Indian companies to base themselves in
  Leicestershire and East Midlands
• Willing to adopted and develop a focused strategy
  to achieve meaningful results
