• We had a dream!

  Hotels
• To expand to become Market leader
• Get rich and stay lucky!
• Status of teamwork
• Getting to know each other

Phase twoNightmare

• Bought 5 properties in new areas (not in the
  expected areas)
• Insufficient funds for Premium or Standard
  hotels,
• So went big into Budget (735 rooms)
• No money left
• Status of teamwork Hated each other

Phase threeSleep walking

• We were misguided by Dana
• Improvements were made but without any benefits
  (the customers didnt like the wallpaper).
• Conclusion Nice hotels but empty!
• Losing MS, and hoping for ..
• Status of teamwork
• Joined together to blame Dana

• Did the right improvements
• Focussed on what needed to be done
• Increase prices
• Cutting salaries
• Gaining MS
• Increased utilization
• Status of Teamwork
• Starting the love each other
• (and like Dana again)
