etc - TRANSGENERATIONAL IMPACT Leave a legacy,
contribute to global web content. Your personal
website can help inspire another young person. Or
start a web log (blog) - PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT Maximize internet
opportunities. School.ie, MIT OCW, etc, are
examples of diverse high-end educational
opportunities - GLOBAL PARTICIPATION AND RELEVANCE Theres no
better tool for global collaboration. Be
omnipresent
3Starting an ICT Club
- Find out is theres already an ICT/Computer Club.
If theres one, join and participate actively.
Otherwise - Speak with other students (various classes) with
similar interest about your intention to start an
ICT club - Draft a formal letter of your intention and make
available to the teacher in charge of clubs and
societies (copy the VP Admin) - Contact Paradigm Initiative Nigeria (LDVs
partner on this project) info_at_pin.org.ng or
seun.olajide_at_pin.org.ng to tell us of your
interest and you can enjoy support from start-up
to take-off - Give the teacher enough reason to prove that you
are serious a report of your participation at
this meeting, a little essay on the role of ICTs
for todays youth, etc - Follow up with a call or eMail And after you
start
