SCIT Layer KONRAD (DWD)

• You need to exchange old SCIT layers in
  favourites in order to get a valid configuration!
• Online help available in menu

• Status information about data delivery
• If no new data is received within 5 minutes, the
  SCIT legend turns red and displays the status
  information. Cells keep their current state
  (current) of the last data delivery for a
  maximum of 30 min

• Cell size configurable
• Cells sizes can be configured dependently of the

  maximal cell sizes
• When zooming out, additional information such as
  cell ID, warning symbols, etc. can be set
  invisible with a configurable scale factor

• selection of NWP model and model-runs for
  forecast soundings in the map

Sounding Diagram merging of Canadian data

• For Sounding the data from TEMP and PILOT reports
  are merged into one profile for each station.
  This is done for Canadian stations, which report
  separate, (pressure based) TEMP reports (without
  wind values) and (elevation based) PILOT reports
  (only wind) for each station.
• This way you get a complete profile of
  temperature and wind values, based on pressure
  levels and containing the elevation values as
  well. (see MSC change request PD-4, bug 5441)

Hodograph merging of Canadian data

• Hodographs for Canadian stations now contain wind
  on significant levels as well as on standard
  levels

• The cities and counties were joined, where OMEDES
  produced 2 warnings, so that the coloured warning
  areas correspond with the actual warning status
  of sent messages

Surface Layer (DWD)

• 24h precipitation from point forecasts corrected
• The data is sent in two files (o_ ) 0-78 hours
  and from 78 hours).
• The 24 hour precipitation was calculated only in
  the import. So at the import of the second file
  the precipitation calculated for the first file
  was overwritten.
• Now the precipitation is calculated in the import
  of each of two files and the two files will be
  merged correctly.
• Display of precipitation values improved (lt for
  little, .0 for 0mm, ,6 for 0.6 mm)
