Don had more than 15 managers during his HP
career!

HP1000 where he did online support and taught SE
courses. He moved to RD in 1981.

1978 Don leaves the US Air Force and Joins HP on

1964 HP's Dymec Division decide that a new
computer should be the heart of future
instrumentation systems. After experiments with
PDP-5 and PDP-8 computers from DEC it was decided
that a more flexible design that simplifies the
task of connecting instruments to the computer
was needed. So begins the HP 1000.

I have had the privilege to have Don as a member
of my team since 98. Our customers have always
had a strong advocate in Don and are lucky to
have had him as the last man standing for the
platform that launched HP into the computer
business. I wish him happiness in his retirement
