certain patterns to give opinions. We can also
use adjectives in the following patterns to give
opinions It is / Its adjective that
Its obvious that monkeys are too intelligent to
be kept in zoos. It isnt fair that Tom is
allowed to go to the zoo tomorrow but we arent.
4It is / Its adjective of noun / pronoun
to-infinitive
Its thoughtful of you to volunteer to clean the
animal cages. It isnt sensible of people to
destroy large parts of the worlds rainforests.

Adjective patterns using It is / Its can also be
used in the simple past, e.g. It was sensible
of you to arrive early.
