Nature takes over - node
  • On entry to outer node show node map and play
    sound track
  • On entry to inner node show dereliction over
    time sound track fades out
  • One exit of inner node sounds fades down
  • Just before exit of outer node hear audio
    childrens voice saying youre leaving!

Boggy Worlds - node

  • Boggy Worlds works in the same way as Nature
    Takes Over
  • The default interactive would be the Two Views
    past and present, since it will be good for
    orientation
  • The only difference in the way Boggy Worlds works
    is that because there is only one hotspot and the
    whole node is very small you will not need
    directions to the hotspot, instead the user will
    enter the hotspot directly and the default
    activity will start.

  • When user enters Laban node area they are
    introduced to the node and the activities
  • They are invited to go and record their echoes in
    the mushroom or to enter the Laban site and play
    in the grass with the spider and create a dance
  • Hidden river plays at certain GPS coordinates
    with the user invited to try and find the hidden
    river in the green valley and see if it is
    flowing
  • Spider animation and dance of the spider
  • Voting system to select which sound is best

  • When user enters area they get video and sound
    from the foot tunnel at Greenwich.

    across the river

  • When the user enters the node they are navigated
    to look at the reach development and consider
    other concepts for a fantasy development
  • When user reaches to the end of the creek they
    are given various options of activities, looking
    at a video of the tunnel, beginning looking at
    the murder mystery tour and considering the view
    past and present of the other side of the river.

Other interface elements
  • Have a my own story option on screen at all
    times, so people can record audio or take a
    picture when something interesting occurs to them
    at any time
  • All media should be tagged with the users name
  • Journey nodes will be passive i.e. no interactive
    input
  • As a default the Map button shows an overview
    map when in a journey node, and a node map when
    in a standard node. However the option to switch
    to the overview or a node map should be
    available.
  • Themes interactive elements can be divided into
    three themes e.g.
  • Transforming nature
  • Old and new
  • Creative creek
  • These may be used to colour code interactive
    experience buttons so use can follow a particular
    type of information at each node. Or these could
    be used as default interactives.
  • Have a physical cache in each node in which a
    user can leave an object, or take one out. Eg. A
    penny at the Boggy Worlds node
