destination is from the school. - Now, figure out the round trip mileage.

A worksheet is one page in an Excel workbook.

7Workbook
A Workbook is the collectionof worksheets that
make up the Excel file.So, Sheet 1, Sheet
2,and Sheet 3 are the Workbook.
8Columns
Columns are vertical (up and down) series of
cells identified by a letter of the alphabet.
9Rows
Rows are a horizontal seriesof cells identified
by a number.
10Cells
Cells are the intersection of columnsand rows
(letter and number). EXAMPLE Area (sq. in.) is
in columnC and in Row 1. So it is cell C1.
11Labels
Labels are text or anything thatis non-numerical
(not a number). So, the labels in this worksheet
are Length (in.), Width (in), and
Area (sq. in.)
12Values
Values are numerical data that can beused in
calculations. Every number in this worksheet is
a Value.
13Formulas
- Formulas are mathematical equations used to
calculate values. - Formulas take values (numbers in a spreadsheet)
and do math with them to create another value.
