AT A FUNERAL
Reminisce about the deceased what he meant to
you
Talk about the importance of telling, doing when
it counts for him
He would really have enjoyed this!
But he doesntits too late for that.
We usually think of things we would like
to have said, but we didntand cant.

Things we want to sayneed to sayshould be said
when they can be appreciated by the one/s who
need to hear it.
Thats what I want to do today tell you some of
the things I appreciate about you as my family
here at Woodmont.
Based on Pauls instructions in Philippians 48
Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is
right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely,
whatever is admirable- if anything is excellent
or praiseworthy- think about such things.

  the holy perfect direction of Gods Word

1. That gives us identity and definition
2. Shows us we are in the same struggle of life
together, and we have the same Father to
help us through it
3. Gives us direction, focus a common, unified
purpose

As different as we are in background,
education, careers, age, language, spiritual
development in the basic core elements of
thinking behavior, we are the same.

There is much in which we need to improve, but a
lot of good going on often away from the group,
out of sight, but going on none-the-less.

We need to get better, be more serious, be more
committed to doing more but I wanted to take
some time to tell you how very much I appreciate
you how much I love and admire you how grateful
I am that you are my family.
