• My favourite monsters are Fairies. They are
  imaginary supernatural creatures which differ
  from other monsters, as they dont have a
  frightening appearance.
• Fairies are legendary creatures, mentioned
  in fairy tales and in the oral folk tradition of
  many places, especially England and Ireland.

• Fairies are described as
  beautiful thin women with long hair, usually
  blonde. Some fairies have wings. My favourite
  fairy is called Nera. Crystals adorn her silky
  brown hair. She wears a long blue dress which
  resembles the sea and she holds a magic rod. She
  usually rides a unicorn. Nera lives near springs
  and lakes. She sings in a way that attracts
  everyone. She can bewitch humans with her songs.
• Nera used to be a kind fairy, but after a
  nasty experience she changed. According to a
  legend, Nera was in love with a boy, but he
  didnt respond to her love. Since then Nera has
  changed into a mean fairy, ready to take revenge
  on men.

• Stories about fairies were created in times
  when people lived close to nature. The power of
  nature fascinated them, but they werent always
  able to explain this power in a logical way. So,
  they resorted to supernatural explanation. Every
  strange sound in the forests, every strange
  feature of water in lakes or rivers gave birth to
  imaginary beings. Thats why fairies appear in
  natural surroundings, forests, lakes, rivers or
  springs.

• Fairies are believed to have supernatural
  powers, which can help or harm human beings. Most
  fairy tales present fairies as kind and friendly
  creatures, ready to solve problems of fairy tale
  characters. But they can get really angry if a
  human disturbs their privacy! Thats why many
  legends mention occasions of people losing their
  voice or getting mad after observing their beauty
  in the woods. Nera is an example of how fairies
  can become dangerous for people.
• Animals and plants play a significant role
  in their world.

• I like Nera because she is very beautiful.
  Another thing that fascinates me is the fact that
  she lives near water. Water is my favourite
  element! The most incredible thing is that I saw
  her near a spring two years ago! Crystals were
  hanging from her hair. I will never forget that
  moment!
