Timing

• From the moment the political and economic
  changes started in Central and Eastern Europe
  Unizo started having contacts with organisations
  in those countries
• First mainly incoming visitors
• Then through projects co-financed by the
  cooperation programme of the government of
  Flanders
• First project started in 1997
• Still going on

• First projects transfer of know-how related to
  specific services setting up European/internatio
  nal departement, accompanying companies, mainly
  starters
• Nowadays transfer of know how related to the
  general management and services of an
  SME-organisation (emphasis on specific services
  possible)

  government, nowadays focus on other
  SME-organisations (members of UEAPME)
