poetry and literature, to illustrate the
differences among communities. - Amish communities- talk about different
communities and focus on Amish, take a field trip
to Amishville in Indiana. - Community helpers- have parents come in and tell
the kids what they do, the children will then
draw and write a story about the parents that
came in.

resources. Discuss in class all the students
findings.

on. - Students will compare U.S. currency to other
counties currency.

three socio-economical classes. Students from
each class will decide on various ways to spend
and save their money. - Students will list life goals. Then the students
will write about how their going to achieve these
goals. - Students will get the chance to arrange the
classroom. Their goal is to come together to
decide how to get the maximum space out of the
classroom.
