    community- then they can discover what they have
    in common- compare the different communities on
    chart paper.

    communities and focus on Amish, take a field trip
    to Amishville in Indiana.
  • Community helpers- have parents come in and tell

    draw and write a story about the parents that
    came in.

    and be able to recognize them in the community.

  • As a homework assignment have student ask at home
    and around school how people get their goods or
    resources. Discuss in class all the students
    findings.

  • Students will compare U.S. currency to other
    counties currency.

    three socio-economical classes. Students from
    each class will decide on various ways to spend
    and save their money.
  • Students will list life goals. Then the students
    will write about how their going to achieve these
    goals.
  • Students will get the chance to arrange the
    classroom. Their goal is to come together to
    decide how to get the maximum space out of the
    classroom.
