3Why the AICC was founded
- The AICC was founded in 1988 to
- 1. Assist airline operators in development of
guidelines which promote the economic and
effective implementation of CBT (Computer-Based
Training).

- 2. Assist training organizations by
- Providing AICC information and publications
- Defining hardware that will deliver courseware
from various sources, and - Addressing issues of hardware and courseware
compatibility.

- Members are companies/organizations
- There are two Membership types
- Voting Members
- Non-Airlines ( 2000 USD per year)
- Airlines ( 1000 USD per year)
- Observer Members
- Any Company or Organization
- 500 USD per year
- Membership application is subject to Executive

11AICC Meetings
- Three meetings per year (typically 2 in North
America and 1 in Europe) - Usually hosted by AICC member companies/organizati
ons. - Member organizations can send an unlimited number
of participants - All are welcome, but Non-Members must pay a 100
per person meeting fee. - Presenters (invited by the AICC Executive
Committee) can attend free.

14Compliance Program
The AICC has a compliance logo program. This is
a "brand" that will help you recognize products
that either claim to, or are tested to comply
with AICC guidelines. The two logos are called
"Designed to AICC Guidelines and "AICC
Certified"
15Compliance Program
This logo is available to any vendor who pays a
nominal fee. (self-policing by the vendor)
This logo is available only to products that
have been tested compliant in an AICC Independent
Test Lab.
Both logos are required to have a list of the
supported AGR's on the product packaging and/or
in the product documentation.
