Overview of the Request Automation

• Problem To facilitate operational requirements,
  the USMC needs an automated methodology for
  requesting USN manpower from the existing
  Manpower Requirement Tracking Module (MRTM)
  within the MCMPS suite of tools.
• Solution Provide the ability for USN manpower
  requests to be entered in the MCMPS-MRTM and
  transferred to the NMCMPS-RTM for processing and
  subsequent sourcing.
• Seamless data entry in USMC MCMPS-MRTM of USN
  requirements.
• Nightly automated transfer of data between
  MCMPS-MRTM and NMCMPS-RTM via approved
  NIPRNET-SIPRNET protocol.
• Injection of requirements at N3/N5 level for
  approval (USMC Claimant).
• USN sourcing information and orders writing
  within current NMCMPS suite of tools.
• USMC receives data into MCMPS via Web Services or
  FTP from the NIPRNET NMCMPS.
