18Environmental Change
2003s project to supply playground activity
balls, racquets, repaired basketball hoops, etc.
has proven to be one of this years biggest
positive changes. We are seeing greatly
increased activity levels at recess including
daily participation in tennis, which was not
utilized at all in the middle school in the past.
Every homeroom was supplied with a kickball,
soccer ball, basketball, and football. There is
also a barrel by the door with more equipment
including tennis racquets and balls. In
addition, step counters are HOT right now.
