Advocacy Ministry of Education / Finance French
Advisory Committee Bussing and
Facilities Resources Literacy (early grades),
library School Activities Survival Night, Movie
Night, etc. Summer Camps, Winter Camps, etc.

What are Chapters?
  • Chapters distribute information about FSL
    education in their community and work to support
    local FSL programs
  • Chapters create and sponsor extracurricular
    French experiences for children at the local
    level
  • Chapters receive grants from CPF (Ontario) to
    help run local programs

Benefits to Chapters
Grants to help support French activities. 65 of
the revenue generated from each membership fee
goes back to the Chapter Access to CPF
(Ontario)'s knowledgeable staff and network of
volunteers Sponsorship of Chapter representatives
to conferences and training sessions Free copies
of CPF publications, brochures to promote FSL and
CPF programs.

Library Grant for French Story Time
Chapters can organize a Story-Time en Français
program for children at their local public
library A 2,500 grant is available to the
hosting library to purchase French reading
materials

Advertising Grant For FI Information Nights
This grant is to help advertise French Immersion
information nights in your local school board
The maximum amount of this grant is 1,500

Adult French Course Grant for Level 1
  • CPF (Ontario) will provide Chapters with
  • the Adult French Course material (20 per
    participant) and the Teachers Guide.
