Belgium (la Belgique) is a small country with a
population of 10 million located northeast of
France. Belgiums capital is Brussels
(Bruxelles). Brussels is also the government
center of the European Union (EU). Belgiums
government is a monarchy with a king as the head
of state. The Belgian currency is the Euro.
Belgium has three official languages French (le
français), Flemish (le flamand), and German
(lallemand). Jean-Claude Van Damme is Belgian.
