Best Young Researcher Award

• Young researchers who have been very active in
  ComSoc publication and conference activities over
  the last 3 years are candidates.
• Age limit is 35.
• Applicants must be members in the Asia/Pacific
  region (Several outstanding young researcher
  awards can be issued at the same time.)

Award Emoluments

• Recipient will receive a certificate and US500.
• Outstanding young researcher will receive a
  certificate and 250.

Selection Process

• Step 1 Each committee member read all paper,
  biography etc. of all applicants.
• Step 2 Score then by activity, originality,
  quality and total
• 5 (best) 1 (worst)
• with short comments, if any.
• Step 3 Send score sheet direct to Dr. H.
  Hasegawa (secretary).
• Step 4 Each score sheet is sorted by the total.
• Step 5 Show the best paper award candidate to
  all committee members by Dr. H. Hasegawa and
  discussion.
