Our Goal

• Our goal was to create an Economic Development
  and Planning web site which could be utilized to
  its fullest potential for its users, and contain
  and convey all necessary information while
  maintaining a user friendly, consistent design
  and navigation structure

Previous Issues

• Information was inconsistent and outdated
• Difficult to find
• Irrelevant pictures
• Inconsistency of design from Village site
• No titles on pages

Whats New

• We utilized the same design of the new Village
  page to maintain consistency
• Designed a splash photo of local businesses and
  malls
• Created a banner for Economic Planning and
  Development
• Created base categories and placed most
  frequented pages on the top and bottom
  navigation, less frequented pages on the side

• New photos of area businesses were added
• New resource links were added
• Map of Potsdam as well as a map of the industrial
  park were added
• Development Convenant PDF was added
• Titles on each page

Future Updates

• The addition of more forms after law review
• The addition of codes and planning information
• Updated contend such as contacts, changes to the
  empire zone ect
