• The quality of the kicking and passing was
  superior in the 3 vs. 3 than 6 vs. 6.
• The 6 vs. 6 was better than the 11 vs. 11.
• Bigger numbers, bigger field, bigger aimless
  boots of the ball, lots of One vs. Everyone
  dribbling.

• The number of contacts was dramatically more
  evenly shared by players in the 3 vs.
• 3 format than in either of the other two.
• In fact, in the 6 vs. 6 and 11 vs. 11 some
  players did not get a single kick.

• The ball was out-of-play much more often in the 3
  vs. 3 game than either of the other two formats
  because of the size of the field.

• The advantage was play always restarted with a
  pass (goal-kick, corner, kick-off) or a throw-in
  pass and nearly always, the player re-starting
  was trying to find a team-mate.
