Goals of High-Energy Physics

• What do we do?
• We explore the frontiers of matter, energy,
  space and time.

How do we get there from here?

• Successfully complete Tevatron Run II and
• initial phase of LHC physics program
• Articulate LHC (luminosity?) upgrade program
• Build an International Linear Collider
• on-time and on-budget

• Continue RD for VLHC and Detectors
• Repair Image of HEP in US and World
• Maintain critical mass of students and postdocs
• Complete the physics case for VLHC
