  • There are over 40,000 pre-scheduled appointments
    during Pow Wow over three days
  • 3 days of pre-scheduled business appointments
    up to 44 per exhibitor booth.

  • How to Pre-plan?
  • Use Pow Wow On-line to search based on criteria
    in data base
  • Use Pow Wow On-line to send e-mail messages
    before appointment period begins
  • Communicate with your own company data base via
    e-mail, letter or telephone call

  • Request your appointments as soon as the
    appointment scheduling begins
  • Supplied with Co ID and Password
  • Let the client know you are requesting an
    appointment via e-mail (include any specifics you
    would like to cover)

  • Adjust appointment request appropriately before
    closing period

  • Look for every opportunity to meet with potential

    Marketplace opens
  • Sponsor a lunch table and invite key clients
  • Pre-arrange to meet and enjoy the Pow Wow lunch
    together
  • Meet or mingle at evening events
  • Make it a goal to mingle with clients or
    potential clients during Pow Wow
  • Make new network friends at every event

Media Marketplace
  • The Media Marketplace is the most popular media
    event at International Pow Wow. 
  • It will be held on the Monday with a morning and
    afternoon session, followed by a reception.
  • This is the best opportunity for U.S. Suppliers
    to connect with media, pitch story ideas and
    distribute press kits and other materials. All
    registered journalists are required to attend and
    they come looking for what's new in U.S. travel.
  • During the two-hour long Session I, U.S.
    Suppliers are seated at tables and the press
    visit looking for story ideas and information. In
    the two-hour long Session II, the tables are
    turned and the press are seated and U.S.
    Suppliers visit.
  • The Media Marketplace does not have scheduled
    appointments press and U.S. Suppliers are free
    to visit whomever they want. The event caps off
    with a closing reception where U.S. Suppliers and
    press can further network. U.S. Suppliers must be
    booth holders at International Pow Wow and
    register in advance for the Media Marketplace
