Characters

• The main characters are Star Girl, Leo, and
  Kevin.They are all about the same age which is
  about 15-17.
• They are all kind of alike, but the only one who
  is kind of different is Star Girl because she
  wears dresses that touch the ground and she
  plays her ukulele everyday after she eats lunch.

Other Characters

• Some of the other characters are Hillary Kimble
  and her boyfriend.
• They are like the main characters because they
  all have sort of the same personality. They also
  do the same type of things.

Setting

• Most of the book takes place in their High
  School.
• Little parts also take place in the Desert, on
  the roads, outside of school, and at Star Girls
  house.

Mood

• The mood of Star Girl is mostly happy a little
  bit sad because some people are mean to Star
  Girl.
• It is happy because she doesnt care what other
  people think, she just cares about herself.

Beginning Plot

• In the beginning Star Girl is a new girl coming
  to Mica High. Everyone stops and stares at her as
  she roams the halls.
• But why cant everyone be friends with Star Girl?
  
• Will she be popular or not?

The Middle Plot

• Star Girl and Leo fall in love with each other. I
  think that is so happy!
• But what is so good about it is that Star Girl
  and Leo dont care what the other people think
  about them.
• Leo also gets use to Star Girls pet rat
  Cinnamon.

The Ending Plot

• Star Girl becomes a new person because Leo was
  getting embarrassed being with Star Girl like she
  was. She became popular, but she wasnt feeling
  right being different. The dance was coming up
  soon, but will Leo take Star Girl after she
  turned back into herself? Now I will leave the
  rest to.

Recommendation

• It is one of my favorite books so far that I have
  read. I think anyone who has a chance should read
  this book because it is awesome!
• I would definitely read this book because it has
  a great message about it is okay to be different.
• I think kids between the age of 10-12 would enjoy
  this book.

Awards

• Star Girl hasnt won any awards. I think it is a
  shame that it hasnt won one because it is such a
  great book!!!!
