  Standard TB Recording Reporting system.

• Several difficulties were noticed during
  implementation of the standard RR

  electronic system, NTP piloted the
• Electronic Nominal Registration System
• (ENRS)

PilotingThis system was Piloted and being
implemented in Cairo and Giza governorates.

Selection Criteria of the Governorates

• Population coverage of each governorate
• The population represent around 20 of the total
  population of Egypt.
• Burden
• The burden of the disease is 13
• Easy accessibility for supervision
• Cairo and Giza are considered one part of the
  Great Cairo

• 16 districts of 2 governorates.
• 20 of population and 14 of chest facilities.

  was out of work
• 93 response. One unit did not receive patients
  (15 May in Cairo).

• A plan of future expansion within one year is
  prepared to implement this system nationwide
  including other sectors providing TB health
  services e.g. the health insurance organization.
• All governorates will be connected through wide
  area network (WAN) , local area network (LAN).
