Introduction

• Water is biggest crisis we are facing today in
  terms of severity and its spread.
• Out of 328 million hectares of total land 175
  million hectares is declared as waste lands.
• Watershed treatment in most of the lands thus has
  to be highest priority.
• Every third person in the country is badly
  affected by this crisis.
• C.C.T. has proven that waste land can be
  transformed into valuable Natural capital at very
  low cost within short time and with guaranteed
  results.

• Out of the waste land most of the area can be
  converted into valuable and bountiful Natural
  capital to overcome the water crisis.
• C.C.T. is based on knowledge input as against
  costly inputs in conventional techniques of
  watershed development.
• C.C.T. is applicable to diverse Agro Climatic
  zones for watershed development soil
  conservation and forestation.
