What is the DiDA?
  • Up-to-date and modern course, offering up to 4
    GCSEs in ICT.
  • Fully electronic course assessed via a website of
    evidence. 100 coursework.
  • Completed at the end of Yr 10 (those who have
    opted for ICT Yr 11).

What is an E-Portfolio?
  • Student work is collated and presented in an
    electronic portfolio (website) of evidence.
  • The e-portfolio will contain hyperlinks to pieces
    of work as well as images, sound clips,
    animations and videos.

DiDA Pathways
  • Students who have chosen ICT in an option block
    will also complete a fourth unit in Yr 11.
  • Each unit equals one GCSE.

DiDA Grading System
  • Overall grades are averaged from each unit -
    students must pass Unit 1.
  • Distinction A
  • Merit A
  • Credit B
  • Pass C
  • U Fail

Key Deadlines
  • Unit 1 final submission 5th May 2010
  • Unit 2 final submission 21st May 2010
  • Unit 4 final submission 21st May 2010
  • Several intermediate deadlines have been set
