Why English for the Environment? The English for
the Environment course was written with the aim
of improving practical skills to facilitate in
the establishment and raising of awareness of
sustainable business practices around the globe.
Who is this course for? English 4 the Environment
is a higher intermediate/advanced level course
that looks at the role of English within
Sustainable business. The course works on
specific sustainability vocabulary and
development of business English skills.
Increasing understanding in this rapidly changing
sector and building the confidence and fluency of
the students when dealing with this topic.
The Author Tim Cowman is an Englishman with
10years of experience teaching Geography, English
and Environmental issues all around the globe.
Since arriving in Brazil in 2005 he has designed
this course through his deep understanding of the
environmental business world in this country. He
is presently the CDM project manager within the
ECOGEO GROUP.
