    new member of the anaesthetic team

  • The emphasis is on working as part of a team
    duties delegated to them by their medical
    anaesthetic supervisor will include pre and
    post-operative patient assessment and care,
    maintenance of anaesthesia. A Physicians
    Assistant-Anaesthesia will also deputise for
    anaesthetists in a variety of situations where
    their airway and venous cannulation skills will
    assist in patient care.

    nurses, operating department practitioners (ODPs)

    experience in a relevant area and evidence of
    recent and successful academic activity
    (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning
    guidelines)A first degree in a health-related
    subject and relevant post-qualification work
    experience.
