• The beloved disciple leaned against Christs
  chest and heard for himself his heartbeat.
• Christ was carried by that which he had
  personally encountered with the Father
• Christ opened up to us the possibility of
  personally KNOWING God.

II. Gods Heartbeat is one of Purpose

• God WANTS man in fellowship with Him man NEEDS
  to be in fellowship with God
• Fellowship had been broken by man man is
  therefore BROKEN
• Man is unable to fix the brokenness - God is
  focused upon restoring the brokenness in man.

III. Gods Heartbeat is one of Passion

• Love is an emotion of passion as much as it is a
  decision of commitment
• Compassion - motivated Christ to the miraculous
  as well as to the Cross
• Passion will drive you to completion when all
  else fails
