• Overview
• Part 1 Introduction to ISO15926
• Part 2 A generic data model to support the

• Rigorous application of spatio-temporal paradigm
  to achieve consistency
• 201 entity types, 243 pages
• Can be considered an Upper Ontology
• Status
• Undergoing project checklist review prior to
  issue as FDIS

ISO15926 parts 4, 5, 6 Reference Data Library

• Overview
• Part 4 Initial Reference Data content for a
  Register, about 5000 classes
• Part 5 The specification of the administrative
  process for adding Reference Data to the Register
• Part 6 The specification for the technical
  process for adding reference data to the Register
• Status
• Available in Working Draft form for a 2-3 years
• Waiting for finalisation of Part 2 due to
  dependencies of RDL on the data model
• Should be issued as CD before next meeting

ISO15926 part 7 Templates

• Overview
• Capability to specify specific data sets for
  specific purposes in business terms, but mapped
  into the data model and RDL
• Uses XML and XML Schema
• Similar in principle to the PLCS DEXS (Data
  Exchange Sets).
• Status
• Work has been progressing for 2-3 years with
  trial implementation alongside development
• NWI/CD expected for next meeting

AP221 PIDs

• Overview
• Data Sheets and Piping and Instrumentation
  Diagrams (2D) for process plant
• Modular AP, uses PDM modules and some PLCS
  modules plus owns others
• A bridge between ISO10303 and ISO15926
• Status
• Modules ready for issue for CD/TS ballot
• AP likely to be issued for DIS ballot mid year

• Geometry for ISO15926
• Data model and/or reference data to support
  geometry.
• The objectives of the proposed part are as
  follows
• the recording of the position and shape of
  manufactured objects within process plants
• the recording of the position and shape of
  geological objects, including sub-surface
  geological features
• the recording of the variation of properties of
  manufactured or geological objects with respect
  to space, time and state.
• Subsurface integration with ISO15926
• Integration of subsurface data models with
  ISO15926
